Priscilla of Boston Group Launches Moderately Priced Line

At New York Bridal market in April, the Priscilla of Boston Group (whose current brands include Priscilla of Boston, Platinum for Priscilla of Boston and Melissa Sweet) launched its newest bridal collection, Vineyard. The collection is fabulous because it will feature moderately priced gowns ranging from $1200 to $2800, making the Priscilla of Boston style accessible to more brides.
The inspiration was youthful, fun and sexy for Mark Brower the designer…giving a modern twist on the traditional bridal gown. And just because the price is moderate doesn’t mean there is a lack of detailing. With a background in beading and embellishment, Mark utilized many of those techniques in his collection while also keeping some dresses simple and clean.
The first dress above is called “Piper” and is a taffeta ball gown with a draped bodice. I love this dress because of its classic style but the draping gives it a modern feel. And also it’s easy to wear for many body types.
The second gown is called “Rebecca” and is made of a Silk-cotton Faille which is great for a bride getting married in a warmer climate as it is a light and cool fabric. It also has a lovely embroidered bodice and a princess cut which is flattering to just about every body type.
The dresses will be in Priscilla of Boston boutiques and bridal salons across the country in late summer/early fall. For more information on where to buy go to the website.
Best,
Julie
