I'm Julie Sabatino...otherwise known as The Stylish Bride. I pretty much devote my life to knowing all there is to know about bridal fashion and style. Through my New York-based company I work with brides to help them look perfect on their wedding day. I do everything from helping them find the perfect dress to selecting a matching bow tie for the groom. I help with matching jewelry, shoes and hair accessories; locating the right bridesmaids dresses; choosing the best evening gowns for the mothers of the bride and groom. It has become my mission in life that every bride is a stylish bride.

How did I come up with the idea for this niche business you ask? After going to multiple stores searching for my own wedding dress, and trying on well over 100 gowns, I realized I needed help. I thought there had to be someone out there who could streamline the process for me, someone to take control and point me in the right direction - but there wasn't. And that's when I first came up with the idea for a personal shopping service dedicated entirely to brides and making their lives easier.

I opened The Stylish Bride in 2004. Since then, it's been profiled in many magazines including InStyle Weddings, Elegant Bride, Inside Weddings, and Grace Ormonde Marriage. I've been featured as an industry expert in Modern Bride, InStyle Weddings, Modern Bride New York, Brides.com and Time Out New York. Plus, every season I attend the bridal fashion shows to see the new collections from each designer and spot new trends.

My philosophy in life is that you have to love what you do, and for me, that's helping brides. I hope that this blog will help you be the stylish bride you always dreamed you would be.
